who is molly?

hi! i mainly go by the alias "mollystars", but you can just call me molly. i am an inscrutable and constantly shifting creative entity that's been making a wide variety of silly things since 2015, perhaps even a little earlier. perhaps you know me for making shitposts of a certain webseries from a time long past. or, perhaps you know me for making some funny tunes every now and then, or for some fun drawings i made. or maybe you know me from my own webseries that i used to run that's now been concluded since years ago. or, most likely, you might just know me because i made a cool video about a Backrooms webseries or DELTARUNE or something. this is all to say that i've been creating things since a very long time ago, and as far as i know, it's the one thing i know how to do better than anything else, so i'm going to keep doing it if i can help it, so i'm always working on Something.
workaholic behavior aside, though, i do enjoy things aside from that. i'm a complete dork about many things, and i like being cozy and bundling up in many blankets n pillows while drinking a nice hot cup of Joseph or some tea or hot choccy or what have you while the Snow Storm outside of this cabin seems to be never-ending.
did i mention that i tend to ramble a lot? being concise isn't really my strong suit.

WHAT is molly?

wouldn't you like to know. :)

my identity and What i am is a question i can never give a permanent answer to. but, most commonly, i just go by any pronouns and i take on this form. perhaps you can simply just call me a "Woman" or something, if you had to gauge anything from my appearance, but i really couldn't care either way. point is, i don't really have any way of boxing myself into one specific identity, so refer to me however you like! i'm simply a nerd who likes rambling about things and being silly every now and then if not a bit timid/tense on occasion, and i'm dedicated to just promoting my own work and letting that stand on its own.
{ this is also to say, any references i put out there, you don't need to follow them 100%. again, how i present myself can change at any moment, and in a way, if you'd like to make your own interpretations of me, feel free! it likely still encompasses a part of my identity regardless. seeing my stuff depicted in other people's styles fills me with a kind of joy i can't put into words, really. }

what does molly do?

over the past years, i've dabbled in:

-video/audio editing
-general storytelling and writing
-drawing, illustrations, animation
-spriteart
-voiceover/voice acting and acting in general
-music production and singing
-coding (mainly java/javascript and also HTML/CSS since i'm making this site lol)
-and perhaps even more...

chances are, if there is an artistic medium, i've given it a shot in some way or another. and of course, some, i'm more experienced with than others, but i'm often very eager to try new things and to take on every aspect of whatever it is i'm working on. not necessarily because of just trust issues with others, but also because i find it important to know a bit about every facet of the creative process, and also i just think it's fun no matter what i'm doing.
i've used these skills to work on MANY projects over the years. chances are, they might even be on this site and have a page dedicated to them! if they do, then feel free to check those out! but if not, then you can find them somewhere in the "contact/support" section of the site!

what is molly up to right now?

at the moment, i mainly am doing a mix of art and youtube videos, and putting out some music n other stuff in my spare time! youtube has been my main priority though as my means of growing my platform further, and i mostly just make videos where i ramble about my interests and what's been giving me the most brainrot.

sometimes, these videos can take a very very long time to do, and i end up often making Very large scale projects even when i don't mean to, but regardless.

aside from youtube, though, i also am mainly honing my music production and drawing a lot! and i may also do some collaborations/work with other creators every now and then (for instance, i do audio/occasionally video editing for HalfBreadChaos's videos!), so i'm getting around at the moment.
and that's just the stuff i'm releasing. i'm also working on some...more personal projects. stuff that i've been looking into for a while, and i'm not sure how long it'll take before any of it is ready. but, i'm trying to balance that with the stuff that i *am* releasing currently. but these are things that feel like they kind of screamed themselves into existence since a while ago, and i'd like to put some of these thoughts and realizations out there for people to see eventually. but, that's neither here nor there at the moment, it'll be a while before this comes to full fruition. overall though, i'm working on a lot of stuff, and i'm mainly just a youtuber/artist/musician at the moment! but, who knows what i might be really up to behind the scenes...

what are molly's interests?

my interests are shifting constantly and i can never be 100% all-encompassing of what i'm into! but mainly at least for games, i have severe brainrot for UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE, the Sonic series, source engine stuff, Project Moon's games, and a lot of indie stuff in general (RPG maker stuff like yume nikki/ib/OFF/, OMORI, other indie games like everhood, oneshot, hyper light drifter, crosscode, eastward, inscryption, hollow knight, hylics 1 and 2, heartbound, ULTRAKILL, neon white, and many many more). i've gotten a bit into From Software's stuff as well, and was a big fan of GTA IV as a kid. there's probably many more but it'd take forever for me to list them.
i also listen to a ton of music and i'm not really picky about genres at all. i don't really have a way of listing my favorite artists/songs because of how broad my tastes can honestly be, so, i guess the best approximation i could give you is linking you to a playlist i made for my livestreams and you might get a good idea of it there lol (hell tbh i could just straight up make a unique section for music specifically now that i think about it ... )
there's also some shows/things i Watch that i really like. i like watching RTVS's stuff a lot, i used to be a big fan of arby n the chief when i was younger and similarly for gmod stuff/machinimas, and i was super into shows like Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe. i have a lot of shows i need to get around to, though, if i can find the time ... (i should also just make a page that has my whole backlog of games/shows and such that i haven't gotten around to yet, that seems fun)
other than that, i also have a lot of brainrot for TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!! i like learning how stuff works and how games work and how computers are made and function and the study of gizmos and doodads and whatchamacallits and what have yous. i love Gadgets so much :)

"human form"? does molly have any other forms?

there is a "bunny" version of me out there that i tend to go into sometimes! it kind of depends on the mood, though. { especially a mood that i could only describe as more... "adult". not *solely* for that, but regardless. }

aside from that, i can take on many other forms, probably! i just don't really feel like it, usually. but, it's possible...you never know what you might find of me considering what i've done over the years...

i hope this page gives a solid enough idea of what i do! it's pretty difficult for me to really make one of these kinda pages because i'm always struggling to find the "perfect" way to express myself. so, this page will probably go through some changes and the such over time. but i think it's a good all-around idea of what kinda person i'm like. if you'd like to contact me for anything, the "contact n support" page is good for that, and there'll likely be other pages in the future dedicated to more of my interests and projects! especially if they actually are added in at the time of you reading this, feel free to check em out! have a good one ^^
